A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, March 9, 2026, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel in Perry, OK. A Graveside Ceremony will be held at 10:30 am March 21, 2026, at Boise City Cemetery, Boise City, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home of Perry, 1408 N 7th St, Perry, OK 73077.Neal was born on Wednesday, October 28, 1942, in Boise City, OK, to Raymond Arthur and Opal Ruth (Walton) Thompson. He graduated from Boise City High School and received an associate degree from Okmulgee Technology School. He married Ruby Walker on April 27, 1961, at the Boise City United Methodist Church. They would have celebrated 65 years of marriage next month. He spent many years working his farm and cattle, and also worked for Ditch Witch. Neal was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He spent countless hours attending sporting events and showing livestock with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and target shooting.Neal is survived by: his wife, Ruby, of the home; children, Alisa Craddock of Perry, OK, her son, Leif Craddock (Chelsea) and their children, Kynlee and Maverick; her son, JJ Craddock (Tarah) and their children, Derek and Daxton; her son, Trayce Craddock (Elissa); daughter, Regine Eslinger (Dan) of Garden City, KS, and their son, Tyson (Shelly), and their children, Peytyn and Pyper; son, Jason Eslinger (Whitney) and their children, Karsten and Sutton; son, Thad Thompson (Sandra) of Perry, OK, and their son, Tanner Thompson, his children, Tinslee and Tatlyn; son, Derrick Wilson (Kayla) of Perry, OK, and their children, Zain, Rhyker, Maverick, Kadence, and Jaxon; daughter, Jennifer Cabello (Rodolfo) of Perry, OK, and their children, Maddox and Hector; son, Todd Thompson (Tonya), of Adair, OK, their children, Raylyn Cato (Kolby), Cooper Thompson (Haylee). He is also survived by his loyal companion, Rusty, who loved riding with Neal around the farm.Neal is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dwayne Thompson, Dean Thompson, Dennis Thompson, and Gary Thompson; and sister, Ralene Strasburg.
