Neal Galloway ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home & Crematory - Princess Anne Chapel on Mar. 16, 2026.Neal Malcolm Galloway, age 40, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away on March 13, 2026, in Newport News, Virginia.Born on May 22, 1985, in Virginia Beach, Neal built a life centered on family, hard work, and the things he loved most. He was a proud conductor for CSX Railroad, a career he took immense pride in and one that reflected his dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic. Neal was also proud of his heritage and was a member of the Choctaw Tribe.Neal had a passion for life and the outdoors. He loved traveling and chasing new adventures, especially when it meant time near the ocean. The beach was one of his favorite places, where he enjoyed body boarding, fishing, and simply taking in the water and sunshine. Neal also loved attending concerts and listening to music, especially Deftones and Jimi Hendrix.He was a devoted sports fan who proudly supported the Yankees, the Cowboys, Duke, and the Miami Heat. Neal also enjoyed watching boxing and spending time with family and friends. Known for his warm personality and sense of humor, Neal had a well-known sweet tooth and never passed up a good dessert.Above all, Neal's greatest love was his family. He shared 26 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Corinne, building a life together filled with love, loyalty, and countless memories. Their bond was strong and enduring, and she was his partner in every sense of the word. Neal was also a proud and loving father to his daughter, Lana, who meant the world to him. He cherished every moment with her and took great pride in being her dad.Neal is survived by his loving spouse, Corinne Galloway, and his daughter, Lana Galloway. He is also survived by his father, John Galloway (spouse Judy); his mother, Dona Galloway; his mother-in-law, Denise Haramia and her life partner Mark Goley; and his father-in-law, Brian Haramia.He is further survived by his brothers, Dru Galloway (spouse Chilita) and Jesse Galloway; sisters-in-law Christina Lohman (spouse Tony) and Stephanie Reese; brother-in-law Gary Catchot; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews: Taylor, Leann, Katelynn, Hailey, Serena, Brooklynn, Lexus, Tony Jr, Jude, Reef, JJ, Cameron, and Caden.Neal was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Cameron Pundt, and his grandmother, Shirley Pundt. Paternal grandfather Richard Galloway (Mr. G), and his grandmother Janice Galloway.Neal will be remembered for his love of family, his adventurous spirit, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.Family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of Neal's life on Sunday, March 22 @ 1 pm. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home & Crematory- 3445 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
