Nazline Basham

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nazline Basham of Ridgely, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Johnson and Preeble Green Johnson; her husband Herman Lloyd Basham; her siblings, Willard Johnson, Millard Johnson, Leland Johnson, Maxine Norris, Mary Maude Hailey, Pam Van, Virginia Robison and Charlene Gregory; and her great grandchild McCala Cochran.

She is survived by: her children, Dale Basham of Ridgely, TN, Dwight Basham of Troy, TN and Diane Basham Gallager of Fresno, CA; and her sister Bonnie Johnson of Union City, TN. She is also survived by six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the New Haven Cemetery (1185 Madie Rd, Ridgely, TN 38080).
