He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Eilers and Minnie Eilers (Buseman); his wife Sharon Eisentrager; his sister Betty; and his brother-in-law Vernon Happle.

He is survived by: his children, Kevin Eilers (Cheryl) of Sauk Rapids, MN and Susan Klein (Randy) of St. Michael, MN; his granddaughters, Carlie, Bailey, Ciara, Brittney, Amber, Morgan and Alexis; and his great grandchildren, Violet and Bennett.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ (22 1st Ave SW, Hampton, IA 50441). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Hampton Senior Center or First Congregational Church.
