Meriden, CT
Natalina “Natalie” Pannone, 101, born on Christmas Day in 1924 in Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 9, 2026, at the Connecticut Baptist Home in Meriden.
Natalie had a deep passion for cooking and baking, and she enjoyed watching her favorite programs on the Food Network. She also loved gardening and took great pride in her beautiful yard. An avid fan of UConn men’s and women’s basketball, she never missed a game. In her early years she worked at the rubber factory in Naugatuck before finding her true calling in caring for others as a home healthcare provider, where she formed many lasting relationships. After her husband Alphonse retired from the Waterbury Fire Department, the couple worked together providing transportation for children with special needs.
She is survived by her children, Frederick (Gloria) and Thomas (Roberta) Pannone of Meriden, and her daughter-in-law Ellen Pannone of Southbury; her grandsons Christopher (Lisa) of Monroe, Jeffrey of Redding, and Michael (Ashley) of Washington, D.C.; her great-grandson Ethan; and many nieces and nephews, especially Kathy Renna (Dennis) of Cape Cod.
Natalie was predeceased by her beloved husband Alphonse, her son Gary, her parents Cesare and Louise (Iannantuoni) Iannantuoni, her brothers Nicholas Iannantuoni of Cheshire and Leonard (Peg) Iannantuoni of Prospect, her in-laws Steven and Lucy Pannone of Waterbury, and her brothers-in-law Steven (Lee) and Francis (Frances) Pannone of Waterbury. At her request, she was laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury.
