Natale Emile Ales

Natale “Nate” Emile Ales of the northshore passed away on March 5, 2026. Born in New Orleans on November 23, 1930, he was a lifelong Louisiana native who graduated from Warren Easton High School in 1947. Nate enjoyed a long career as General Merchandise Manager for National Canal Villere Supermarkets before retiring.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Louise Bennett Ales; his daughter, Paula Ann Gannon; and his parents, Lena Maddie Ales and Emile Ales. Nate is survived by his son, Nathan Ales and his wife Debra; his grandchildren, Michael John Gannon III, Sean Michael Gannon, and Joshua Nathan Ales; and his great-grandson, Bradley Michael Gannon.

A resident of the northshore for the past thirty-five years, Nate will be remembered fondly by all who knew and loved him.
