Naomi Carol Kopka

Naomi Carol Kopka, 69, of Monticello, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.

She was born on August 17, 1956 in Kentucky to the late Kenneth Eugene Kopka and Audrey (Mineer) Reynolds.

Naomi loved sewing especially making quilts. She made many for her family. She loved her dog, Bella.

She is survived by her children, Emmitt (Brittney) Reed of Marion, Donald (Misty) Reed of Monticello; siblings, David (Kathy) Kopka of MI, Lori Miller of NC; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Robin Kopka.

A celebration of Naomi's life is being coordinated at the convenience of the family.
