Nancy WESTERGOM

Nancy Lee Westergom, a longtime resident of the Somerton section of Philadelphia, passed away on March 12, 2026 at the age of 73. Born on July 10, 1952 and raised in Kensington, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Ruth (Achilles) Keller. She attended Webster Elementary School and graduated from Frankford High School with the class of 1970.

Nancy met her late husband, Michael Westergom, while working as coworkers at Keystone Shipping. They married on December 14, 1982 and spent nearly two decades raising their children together in the Lower Mayfair area of Philadelphia. She later worked in accounting at GAC Shipping (Rice Unruh Reynolds Shipping Co.), retiring in July 2018. In retirement, Nancy found great joy in her beautiful dream home, surrounded by friends and loved ones.

She is survived by her children, Brian Westergom (Mary) and Jessica Westergom; her stepson, Christopher Westergom (Jodie); and her grandchildren, Sophia, Molly, and Nathan Westergom. She was the sister of Ruth Jackson (Glenn), Bonnie Eppehimer (Thomas), and the late Frank Keller. Nancy was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, wife, aunt, grandmother, and friend—known affectionately as Honey to her Honeybee.
