Nancy Smith ObituaryVisit the Covenant Funeral Service - Fredericksburg website to view the full obituary.Nancy Parker Smith, age 92, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026.She is survived by her daughter, Debra Randolph (George) of Locust Grove, VA; her sister, Edna Rose (James) of Stafford, VA; brother, Johnnie Parker, of Spotsylvania, VA; niece, Pamela Rose, of Stafford, VA.; step-grandaughter, Sandy Pleasants (Dale) of Waynesboro, VA; great-grandson, Brandon Pleasants of Fairfax, VA; great-grandaughter, Brittni Campbell (Cameron) of Surf City, N.C. She has always been Nana Nancy to Richard, Russell, Randy, Xavi and Fallon Smyth. She leaves behind many dear friends, extended family and neighbors who have cared for her, and done so much to improve the quality of her life over the years. She loved each and every one, and was so grateful for everything they did for her. Billy Reyes may have well been her "adopted son", as he was the first one she called whenever she needed anything, and he always showed up for her, like he would his own mother.She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, John G. Smith, and her companion of 20+ years, Edward M. Conrad.She was employed by Dr. David Terrill as an orthodontic assistant for over 30 years, retiring at age 83. She loved mowing grass and doing "chores" when she wasn't at work. She also loved all of her "four-legged grandchildren" and was devoted to caring for them at every opportunity.Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Covenant Funeral Home, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in Sunset Memorial Gardens at 2:00 pm.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Fredericksburg Area SPCA, Orange County Humane Society, or Virginia Kincheloe Spay & Neuter Clinic.Read The Full Obituary
