Nancy L. McMullen

Nancy passed away on March 12, 2026 at the age of 77. Born in Rochester, New York to the late Edward and Josephine Alborn, she spent her life offering quiet strength and kindness to those around her.

Nancy was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Phillip McMullen, and by her closest friend of many years, Sandy. A devoted wife and mother, she loved and nurtured her family unconditionally. Her gentle nature, warm smile, and great laugh left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Nancy held a special place in her heart for animals, especially her beloved dogs, who provided her with constant comfort and companionship.

For many years, Nancy worked as a school bus monitor for the Wayne Central School District, where she cared for special needs students with patience, kindness, and encouragement. She took great pride in her role and the small but meaningful ways she supported the children in her care.

Nancy is survived by her children, Tim (Roxanne Pyles) McMullen and Lori (Jeffrey) Cox; her grandson, Ryan Cox; her siblings, Shirley (Doug) Montgomery and Gary (Sandy) Alborn; and several nieces and nephews.
