Nancy Gilbert

Nancy Jane Gilbert, 73 years old, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 3:35 AM in Simpsonville, South Carolina.

Nancy was born on April 4, 1952 in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Willard Hilton Freeman and the late Myrtle Mae Carson. In addition to her late parents, Nancy was also preceded in death by her husband Everett T Gilbert, as well as siblings Sue, Louise, and Butch.

Survivors include one brother, Ernest J Freeman, and one sister, Thelma E Brister. Nancy was also survived by two sons, Kenneth McClain and Kevin Blackwell, and one daughter, Karen White (Bobby). Nancy had five grandchildren, Harley, Eric, Jonathan, Justin, and Jacob, as well as twenty-one great grandchildren. In her professional life, Nancy was a caregiver to many. Nancy was known to be a very kind and caring woman and was loved by many.

Memorial services will be announced.
