Nancy E. "Fors" Willett

Nancy E. (Fors) Willett, 78, of Worcester, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 12, 2026.

Born in Worcester to Ralph and Mary (Petrides) Fors, Nancy lived her entire life in the city she loved. A proud member of Burncoat Senior High School’s first graduating class, she went on to attend Rob Roy Academy and became a hairdresser. For many years she worked alongside her mother at the Gold Star Beauty Shop. Later, she opened a daycare in her home, where she was affectionately known as “Nanny.” She created a warm, nurturing environment for countless neighborhood children, including her own grandchildren.

Nancy was the heart of her family. Her home served as the gathering place for holidays, milestones, and cherished memories. She shared a deep bond with each of her daughters and grandchildren, and spoke with her sister every day. High school sweethearts with her husband Brian since 1963, Nancy and Brian built a loving life together and raised three daughters, teaching them the meaning of unconditional love.

She leaves her husband of 56 years, Brian Willett; daughters Tracy Hennessey and her husband Peter of Flagler Beach, Florida, Kelly Powers and her husband Shane of Palm Coast, Florida, and Kristen Joly and her husband B.J. of Worcester; seven grandchildren, Emily Grinstead and her husband Silas, Patrick Callahan, Joey Powers, Mackenzi Callahan, Marykate Callahan, Zach Joly, and Jacoby Joly; step-grandson John Callahan; great-granddaughter Lyla Grinstead; sisters Linda Holt and Karen Fors; brothers Richard Fors and his wife June, and David Fors; and many nieces and nephews.
