Nancy Lee Bookout Price, age 91, of Cherryville, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Peak Resources. She was born June 13, 1934, in Gaston County, to the late Lee Alexander and Vergie Jane Wallace Bookout. Nancy was a member of First Baptist Church where she particularly enjoyed serving in the church nursery. She was employed for many years at Nu Way Spinning as a Secretary and then worked at Carolina Freight. She then decided to get into Real Estate and enjoyed a second career as a Real Estate Agent.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Price; brother and sister-in-law, Gene Bookout and Marie; sisters and brother-in-law, Margie Dellinger and J.C. and Betty Roberts.

Survivors include her nieces, Melba Lawrence (Don), Karen West (Andy), and Lavonne Robinson (Brian); nephews, Barry Dellinger (Wanda), David Roberts (Melody), Michael Bookout (Ronnie), and Douglas Bookout (Toni); brother-in-law, Joe Roberts; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery, with Mr. Allan Chapman officiating.
