March 12, 1954— March 13, 2026
Coweta, OK
Nancy Anne Belding, resident of Coweta, OK, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, just one day after celebrating her 72nd birthday. She was born on March 12, 1954, in Coweta, OK to parents Hershel George Poplin and Laura Jean (Davis) Poplin. Nancy's life was one of devotion, care, and boundless love.
With her heart always set on helping others, Nancy graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1972 and went on to share her compassion as a special needs aid and school bus aid at Arrowhead Elementary School in Broken Arrow. Her warm presence left a lasting impression on every life she encountered.
A story of timeless romance, Nancy married her beloved husband, John Paul Belding, on October 2, 1988, in Paris, Texas. Their 37-year marriage was a testament to enduring love and shared passions. Together they embarked on fulfilling her lifelong dream by becoming the proud owners of the antique store they met in antique store—a place where memories and treasures intertwined.
Nancy’s legacy is carried on by her loving family, including her husband John; her two daughters, Amanda Gail Mabry and husband Gary, Carrie Lynn Fagan and husband Jeff; her sisters, Kathy Cox and husband Len, Sandy Lamberson and husband Mike; and her uncles, Harold Poplin, Gearld Poplin, and Ronald Poplin. She was a cherished aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, and a friend to many cousins and extended family members who admired her gentle spirit.
Nancy's faith was the cornerstone of her life. As a Christian, she was a precious member of the Broken Arrow Assembly of God, where she practiced her faith with conviction and grace. Her humility was profound—never one to regard herself highly, Nancy was beloved by all who knew her for her easygoing nature and kind heart.
Nancy impacted lives not through grand gestures but in the quiet, everyday moments that left indelible marks on those she met. Nancy’s remarkable life was a mosaic of modesty, kindness, and love.
In keeping with Nancy’s wishes, no services are planned.
