Nancy Ann "Mom-Mom" Latchford

Nancy Ann Latchford, 83, of Spring City, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly on March 4, 2026, at her home. She was the beloved wife of Eugene Francis Latchford.

Born in Norristown, Nancy was the daughter of the late Merrill Walter Abbett and Anna Catherine Steiner Abbett. She began her career as a secretary at the Container Corporation before becoming a stay-at-home mother after the birth of her children. For many years she worked as an Avon lady, later returning to the workforce as an executive secretary at General Electric, where she served for more than a decade. A breast cancer survivor, Nancy spoke openly about her experience and took great pride in sharing her story with others. Above all, she was a devoted “Mom-Mom,” a loving grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene; her daughter, Barbara Ann Ford Shaw, and son-in-law, James; her son, Joseph Thomas Ford; her sister, Pamela J. Montgomery Linfanté; four grandchildren, Dr. Allison Shaw and her husband Zachary Schwab, Daniel Shaw and his wife Jordan, Brittany Naylor and her husband Brandon, and Michael Ford; and three great-grandchildren, James and Anna Schwab, and Theodore Shaw.
