Nancy A. Griffith, age 95, of Tewksbury, formerly of Stoneham, passed away on February 28, 2026.

She was born in Somerville on September 20, 1930 and was the daughter of the late E. Everett Adams and Mable (Hellman) Adams.

Nancy was born in Somerville and grew up in Arlington. After having married, she and her husband settled in Stoneham to raise their children. She was President of the Amica at the Congregational Church of Stoneham. Nancy had a passion for knitting and sewing, passions which she had a tremendous talent for. She also enjoyed trips to Wells, Maine where the family had a secondary residence.

She was the beloved wife of the late Douglas G. Griffith. She was the loving mother of Debbie Johanson and her late husband Frank of Oxford, GA, Wayne Griffith and his wife Barbara of Woburn, Marilyn Pagluica and her husband Patrick of Medfield, Penny Belmonte and her husband Joe of Reading, David Griffith and his wife Sheenah of Farmington, NH and the late Brian Griffith. She was the adoring grandmother of Sonja, Korena, Melissa, Sarah, Doug, Kim, Laura, Ashley, Suzanne, TJ, Mathew, Erica, Nicole, Hannah, Thor and Jack. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was the sister of the late Barbara Johnson, Phyllis Foster, and Harold Adams.

A private graveside service for family will be held at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody in the Spring. Arrangements were in the care of the McDonald-Finnegan-Anderson Funeral Home, Stoneham.
