Nancy A. (McNally) Bailey
July 5, 1961— March 6, 2026
Clinton, MA
Nancy A. (McNally) Bailey, 64, passed peacefully on March 6, 2026, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Philip Bailey, Jr.; their daughters and their spouses, Erin Bailey and Vanessa, Kathleen Dalton and Seth, Molly Bailey, and Nora Verni and Kevin; and eight cherished grandchildren, Grace, Preston, Rosie, Henry, Quinn, Garrett, Anthony, and Louis. She is now reunited with her son, baby Philip. Nancy also leaves her siblings and their spouses, Pat McNally, Ellen Cutaia and Peter, Janice Bruso and Wade, Bob McNally and Cyndi, Jim McNally and Carolyn, and the late Michael McNally; her sisters- and brothers-in-law from the Bailey family; and generations of nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.
Born and raised in Clinton to the late Joseph and Mary (Ruane) McNally, Nancy graduated from Clinton High School with the Class of 1979. She continued her education with a focus in Human Services at Mount Wachusett Community College. For many years she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in educational, nursing, and assisted living facilities. She took particular pride in her role as caregiver and advocate for the residents of Davis Manor at the Dr. Franklin Perkins School in Lancaster.
Above all, Nancy’s greatest joy was her family. As wife, mother, and grandmother—especially as “Nannie”—she poured her heart into creating a warm and lively home filled with love and laughter. She hosted countless gatherings at her house and beloved camp, planned memorable summer beach vacations, camping trips, and cross-country adventures, and never missed an opportunity to cheer for her daughters and grandchildren. Her infectious smile and steady presence drew people together, making each grandchild feel uniquely special and turning ordinary days into lasting memories. A woman of deep faith, she led by quiet example and remained a pillar of strength and inspiration for her family throughout her final year.
