Jamestown, NY
Nadine L. Pascatore passed away on March 13, 2026, in Jamestown. Born on August 5, 1957, in Geneva, Ohio, she was raised in Ashtabula and graduated from Harbor High School. Her life unfolded across several communities, including Meadville, Pennsylvania, Randolph, Jamestown, and Kennedy, New York, where she formed many lasting friendships.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Phillip Pascatore, on January 19, 2025; her parents, Aletha Grace Luce and Edward M. Sanborn; and her sister, Diane McCandless, on February 1, 2021.
Nadine is survived by her children, Laura Michelle (Michael) Watson and Julie Nadine (Jason) Swartz, both of Gerry, New York; Gregory John (Cindy) Saeger and Geoffrey Michael (Roxanne) Saeger, both of Jamestown, New York; her siblings, Edward M. Sanborn of Bruce, Wisconsin, Leslie M. Sanborn of Union City, Pennsylvania, Vanita M. Walters of Randolph, New York, Clifford F. Sanborn of Linesville, Pennsylvania, and Joyce E. Weber of Meadville, Pennsylvania; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Nadine loved deeply and lived wholeheartedly. She cared for her husband with unwavering devotion and took great pride in her children and grandchildren, especially her granddaughter Charleigh. Her home was a place of warmth, lively conversation, and the company of the dogs she adored. She completed a 12-week dog obedience training course and cherished the love of animals she inherited from her mother, including memories of riding her pony Midge with remarkable courage and determination.
She approached life with an adventurous spirit, co-owning a children’s gently used clothing store with her sister Vanita, where her outgoing personality flourished, and fearlessly tackling tasks such as chopping and hauling wood. Nadine worked for the Jamestown Public School District as a school bus driver and later as a custodian, finding purpose in serving her community. Her faith in Jehovah was the foundation of her life; she worked diligently to share her beliefs with others and even studied foreign languages to broaden her ministry. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, resilience, and the abundant love she gave to all those around her.
