We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2026, Myrna Racinez (Scotch Plains, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Myrna farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Myrna is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She is survived by: her husband Piorelio Abad Racinez; her children, Christine Lisa Racinez (James Michael Fieldson) and Christopher (Sheila Racinez); her granddaughter Chloe Pia Ariel Racinez; her niece Jane (Mike Bierman); and her great-niece Meekah Rodriguez-Salazar.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rossi Funeral Home (1937 Westfield Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 9:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Scotch Plains Baptist Church (333 Park Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076). A reception will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
