Reeder, 70, of Lima, Ohio, passed away on March 16, 2026, at Lost Creek Care Center.Sue was born on August 26, 1955, in Toledo, Ohio, to Kenneth and Dorothy (Roudebush) Cunningham, who preceded her in death. On September 10, 1977, she married William "Bill" Reeder Jr., who preceded her in death on December 27, 2022.Sue graduated from Central Catholic High School in Toledo. She worked for the IRS for 38 years, beginning as a clerk. As a devoted parent striving to provide a better life for her family, she pursued further education at Ohio Northern University and became an Internal Revenue Agent. Her career allowed her to travel to many places across the country.She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church and played in their Bell Choir and was deeply involved in the Scout Pack and Boy Scout programs for over fifteen years. Sue also took great pride in her volunteer work with the church throughout her life. She was a fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and a member and past treasurer of the Ohio Western Horseman Association.Above all, Sue cherished her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with them-whether picking them up from school, helping with classroom work, going on field trips, baking birthday cakes, or simply being present in their day-to-day lives.She is survived by her daughter, Ellece Joiner of Connersville, IN; her sons, William "Billy" (Emerin) Reeder of Lima, OH, and Shawn (Nikki Rodriguez) Reeder of Lima, OH; her grandchildren, Tayla Sperl of Connersville, IN, Dakota Reeder, Aiden Reeder, and Rorke Dunlap, all of Lima, OH; her brothers, Daniel "Dan" (Wanda) Cunningham of Whitehouse, OH, and Father Nicholas "Nick" Cunningham of New Bavaria, OH; and her beloved animals, Pixie and Odie.She was preceded in death by her sisters, Patricia "Pat" (Sonny) Codner, Margaret "Peg" Roberts, and Mary Ellice Cunningham.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Eastside Chapel. A Celebration of Life will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the Eastside Chapel, officiated by Father Nick Cunningham.
