Murphy Middleton II, 72, of North Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. He was a man who loved to laugh and had a special gift for making others smile, turning even quiet moments into times of joy. His heart was fullest when surrounded by family, and he gave his love generously and beautifully to those closest to him.

He leaves behind cherished memories that live on through his beloved son, Murphy Monroe (Janice) Middleton III, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Carl Middleton, Gussie (Lana) Aiken, Reginald Middleton, Angela (Charles) Carroll, Troy Stuckey, and Andrea Stuckey, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

His laughter and the warmth of his presence will continue to echo in the stories told and the smiles shared by all who knew and loved him.
