Lemelle Drive.Rev. Fr. Donald Bernard, Celebrant will officiate.Following the Mass, entombment will be held in the Mausoleum of Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church Cemetery, 130 N. Richelieu Circle in New Iberia, LA.The visitation will be held at Fletcher Funeral Home on Saturday, March 14, 2026, beginning at 7:30 AM until 9:30 AM. A rosary to be prayed at 8:30 A.M. followed by a moment for the reading of the obituary and tributes.Mr. Murphy John Henry was a resident of New Iberia, LA. He departed this life on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 5:58 A.M. at Bayou Shadows Rehabilitation Center in New Iberia, LA.Murphy was a proud graduate of Jonas Henderson High School. For many years, he was employed at Avery Island Salt Mine. On any given day, he could be seen driving his truck, often on his way to tend to work at his rental properties. A man of deep faith, he was a devoted member of Saint Edward Catholic Church, where he faithfully attended the 4:00 p.m. Mass on Saturdays.On May 23, 1959, he was united in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Marjorie Jones Henry.
