Curtis Willis officiating. Interment will be in the Standing Pine Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 PM Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Pearl River CERF Building. John E. Stephens Chapel in charge of arrangements.Ms. Sockey, 53, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at UMMC in Jackson, MS. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, scrolling Facebook and was always on the road going somewhere.She is preceded in death by her parents, Billy Joe Sockey, Sr. and Geneva Denson Frazier; grandparents, Enoch Sockey, Lessie Sockey; aunt, Nevalena Billy; uncle, George Denson.Survivors include daughters, Latisha Arreola, Audrey Sockey, Kalseia King; son, Nickolus Johnson; brothers, Marcus Sockey, Sr. and Billy Sockey, Jr.; 12 grandchildren, aunts, Kaffie Isaac, Mary Ann Soloman; 4 nieces, 6 nephews, 2 great-nieces, 3 great-nephews and special friend, Jerry Lewis.Pallbearers are Steven Sockey, Andrew Sockey, Cody Sockey, Quitin Sockey, Keyshaun Nickey, Randy Nickey, Peter Sockey, Dewayne Lewis.
