She was born on June 25, 1965, at Fort Bragg, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, to parents, Ronald Barton, Sr. and Nancy Zavacki.She grew up in Brick Township, New Jersey, graduating from Brick Memorial High School in 1983 and the Katharine Gibbs School in 1985 as a legal secretary. She married Rodney Hale in 1989 and moved to Silsbee, Texas. The loves of her life included her family, especially her grandchildren, her cats, Carnival cruises, spa days, Starbucks coffee, white merlot, and trial podcasts. Lisa's beautifully crocheted afghans will be a treasured reminder of Lisa's warmth for her friends and family. Lisa was a huge New York Yankees fan and never missed a chance to see them play when they came to Texas or when she came home to New Jersey.Lisa is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Zavacki (1999) and her ex-husband, Rodney Hale (2018).She is survived by her son, Matthew Hale; daughter-in-law, Christian Hale; granddaughters, Grace and Abigail; grandsons, Eli and Ryder; goddaughter, Amanda Reilly; father, Ronald Barton, Sr.; stepmother, Beverly Barton; best friends, Zandra McDonald and Debbie Wilcox; and siblings, Gina Malloy, Leah Schaefer, Tracy Herrell, Ronald Barton II, Russell Barton, and Kelly Barton.A gathering of Ms. Hale's family and friends will be 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 13, 2026, at Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
