A lifelong resident of the Flint area, Mrs. Gates was known for her deep faith and her devoted presence in her church community. She lived a long and quiet life marked by dignity, grace, and a steadfast commitment to her family and her beliefs.
She leaves behind loving family members who will cherish the memories of her gentle spirit and the many years they shared together. Mrs. Gates was laid to rest at River Rest Cemetery in Flint.
