Mrs. Pat Craig

Pat Craig, 81, of Henderson, passed away on March 13, 2026, in Tyler. Born on November 21, 1944, in Orange, she had lived in Henderson since 1978. For many years she worked for Henderson Independent School District at Henderson Middle School, where she oversaw ISS. She was also a longtime member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Burton Starkey, and her mother, Jimme Lee McDaniel.

Mrs. Craig is survived by her husband, Joe Frank Craig; her children, Kim Buckner and husband Kent, Cody Moore, Joe Glenn Craig and wife Leigh, Jeff Craig, Todd Craig and wife Jennifer, and Scott Craig and wife Laura; and sisters-in-law Nancy Drake, Mollie Hale and husband Ken, and Linda Culp. She was affectionately known as “Sweetie” to her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as to a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
