Mrs. Olga Cordero

Olga Cordero, 57, of Henderson, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born on March 17, 1968, in Galeana, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, to Alvaro Mendoza Maldonado and Maura Oviedo Arzola, she had made Henderson her home since 1984.

Olga cherished the time spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She found simple joy in her morning coffee at McDonald’s with her closest friends, Josefina Morales and Celia Juárez, and in browsing thrift stores. A woman of deep faith, she took great pleasure in serving her church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvaro Mendoza Maldonado and Maura Oviedo Arzola, and her brother, Raul Mendoza Oviedo.

Olga is survived by her husband of 39 years, Anselmo Cordero; her children, Perla Lara and husband Rafael, Gabriel Cordero and wife Veronica, and Karina Cordero and partner Miguel; her brothers, Carmelo Mendoza and wife Candy, Martin Mendoza Oviedo and wife Carlota, and Alvaro Mendoza Oviedo; her grandchildren, Bryan, Angie, Julian, Araceli, Leandro, Valeria, and Leilani; and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
