A native of Atmore, Alabama, she spent her entire life in this cherished community. Born on August 20, 1941, Margaret was a beloved figure to those who knew her and will be remembered for the warmth and kindness she brought to everyone around her.She loved spending time outdoors, often washing her car and tending to her beautiful flowers. Shopping was another favorite activity, and in the evenings, she enjoyed watching soap operas and catching up on the news. Cooking brought her joy, specially making rice with tomato gravy and biscuits. With a heart of gold, she cherished her family and always welcomed new faces, treating everyone like a friend. Her humble nature and selfless spirit meant she was always thinking about others, making her a truly special person.Mrs. Milstid is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Linnie Presley Hayes; grandson, Devin Morrow "Lil Man"; daughters, Linda Weaver and Linda Adams; sons, Carl "Bubba" Adams and Michael Adams.She is survived by her; three daughters, Michelle and husband Judd Mason of Atmore, Alabama, Brenda and husband John Stephens of Uriah, Alabama, and Debora Helton of Atmore, Alabama; sons, David Adams and wife Marissa of Atmore, Alabama, and Brad Adams of Atmore, Alabama twenty-four grandchildren; sixty-two great grandchildren and twenty-three great-great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Petty Funeral Homes, LLC with Brother Bubba Rolin officiatingBurial will follow at Judson Creek Indian CemeteryVisitation will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Petty Funeral Homes, LLC.Pallbearers will be Fred Weaver, Fred Weaver Jr., Melton Weaver, Kyler McGlothern, Joshua Brown, Dakota Madison and Tommy Pickern.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
