Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Prentiss Davis, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.Lillian was born on September 20, 1949, in Thomasville, Georgia, to the late Beatrice Maynard and J. C. Holmes. She attended Hillsborough County Public Schools in Tampa, Florida.Lillian later worked at Ybor City Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, where she was employed in hospitality and housekeeping before retiring. She served her community with dedication and care. Throughout her life, she faced challenges with remarkable strength and determination. Her deep faith and trust in Christ Jesus were reflected in her daily life through her obedience, perseverance, and steadfast spirit, even during difficult times. Lillian also found great joy in serving at her church and remained active in ministry until her health no longer allowed her to do so.She leaves to cherish her memories: sister, Geraldine Gonzalez; brothers, James W. Holmes (Carolyn) and David Holmes (Rebecca); niece and caregiver, Youlanda Holmes King; and a host of sorrowful nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N.
