Mrs. Hefner was born in Athens to the late Walter Gilbert and Montine Giles Hill. She was a member of Living Waters Holiness Church.Mrs. Hefner is survived by her husband, Joseph. H. Willoughby of Athens; daughter, Christina Carver of Nicholson; sisters, Kathleen Sims of Jefferson and Eva Marie McEntyre of Chestnut Mountain; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, March 1 from 3 to 5 PM.
