She worked for Farmland Industries as a print buyer. She enjoyed mushroom hunting and restoring vintage furniture as well as gardening.She was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Shea, in 1999.Survivors include her husband, Burton Hughes; daughter, Anne Hughes; mother, Donna Werle; sisters, Debra O'Dell and Denice Belcher; as well as many nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2026 with service following at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, 217 W.
