She is survived by sons Robert, of Louisville, KY;Alan, of Morris, AL; David (Betsy) of Walland, TN; and granddaughter Alison, of New Orleans.A graduate of Jacksonville State University, Doris spent her professional career as a teacher at Caldwell Elementary School. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Scottsboro.Doris's profound faith in God was evident in her unconditional love for family and friends.All who knew Doris experienced her unselfish generosity, unfailing humility, and authentic friendship.Her family is grateful for the care of physicians, home health nurses, the staff of Highlands Medical Center, and dear friends who shared visits with her.A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 13, at 1PM in the Morris Cemetery, Morris, Alabama.
