Deloris Ann Brown, born on July 31, 1956, in Greenville, North Carolina, to the late Geraldine Dawson and Isaac Hazelton, Sr., passed away on March 11, 2026. A proud graduate of D.H. Conley High School, Class of 1975, she spent her early years in various communities throughout Pitt County, where she formed lifelong friendships and treasured memories.
Deloris was known for her unwavering belief in the value of hard work and her quiet perseverance. She served as Housekeeping Supervisor at the Cricket Inn Hotel before beginning a remarkable career at Greenfield Place Assisted Living, where she worked faithfully for more than thirty years. She retired in December 2025, remembered by residents and coworkers alike for her reliability, strong work ethic, and genuine care.

She also enjoyed the music of the 1970s. Above all, Deloris cherished her family and lived a life defined by strength, faith, sacrifice, and unconditional love.
She is survived by her brother, Isaac Hazelton, Jr. (Monica), along with a host of loving family members and dear friends.
