Mrs. Carrie Reyer

Carrie Mae Gadberry Reyer, age 90, of Forrest City, passed away on March 12, 2026, at the home of her son, Danny.

Born on August 18, 1935, in Forrest City, Carrie was the daughter of Emmitt Gadberry and Lucille Shands Gadberry. She lived most of her life in Forrest City, with a brief period spent in Sacramento, California. A graduate of Forrest City High School, she retired from Yale Hoist. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church, where she found community, and she cherished cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Carrie was married to Noble Lee Reyer, who preceded her in death in 2014. She is survived by her son, Danny Reyer and his wife Vickie of Forrest City, along with six grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Baby Jane Reyer and Carolyn Ann Reyer Crick, and three brothers, Thomas Gadberry, Carroll Gadberry, and Ralph Gadberry.
