Mrs. Brenda Griffith Williams

Mrs. Brenda Griffith Williams, age 82, of Winder, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, surrounded by her family.

A lifelong resident of Barrow County, Brenda spent her career as a teacher at Russell Middle School and Hope Christian Academy. Deeply devoted to her faith, she was a longtime member of Winder Wesleyan Church and also attended Free Chapel in Braselton. She served her church community with quiet dedication in many roles, including president of the Women’s Missionary Society, director of children’s ministries, church librarian, Sunday school teacher, outreach director, CYC director, and secretary of the church board.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Williams, and her parents, G.B. Griffith and Mildred Watson Griffith.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Melode (Kevin) Rollison of Winder and Carla (Mike) Etheridge of Winder; her brother, George Griffith of Winder; grandchildren Joshua Headrick, Brayden Headrick, and Lauren Williams; and great-grandchildren Elijah Headrick, Luke Headrick, Bryson Headrick, Benjamin Headrick, Allie Headrick, Anna Headrick, and Cooper Williams.
