Willie C. Miles was born on July 31, 1943, in Forrest City, Arkansas, to the late Alvin Miles and Jannie Mae Moore Satterwhite. Raised in Forrest City, he later moved to Illinois, where he accepted Christ at an early age at Antioch Baptist Church in Waukegan. In the mid-2000s, Willie returned to Forrest City, where he lived for the remainder of his life.

During his working years, he was employed as a laborer in the car rental industry, serving faithfully for many years. He was known for his quiet strength, hardworking spirit, and the kindness he showed to those around him.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Miles and Jannie Mae Moore Satterwhite; two uncles, Eugene Moore and James Henry Moore; and three aunts, Pearlie Gregory, Channie Dorris, and Ruthie Mae Harris.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved aunts, Dorothy Mae Anderson and Louise Moore; his special nurse and caregiver of many years, Edna “Faye” Marlowe; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends who will forever remember his life and legacy.
