Scott Edward Freeman, 54, of Bogalusa, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on November 20, 1971, in Bogalusa to Edward and Mildred Freeman, Scott spent most of his life working as a residential contractor. He was known for his strong work ethic, dependable nature, and his readiness to help anyone in need. Scott took great pride in his craft and in providing for the people he loved.

In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, working around the house, and simply being with family and friends. Those who knew him understood that his heart belonged to the people closest to him. His family meant everything to Scott, and he cherished every moment spent in their company.

He is survived by his mother, Mildred Freeman; his sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Bart Pierce; his daughter, Khristian Skyla Stoker; and his beloved grandchildren, Bentley, Royce, Amari, and Alyvia, who brought him great joy. He is also survived by his daughterly-niece, Emileigh Applewhite; his nephew, Kainon Murray; his niece, Ella Perry; and his very special friend, Connie Meyers. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Freeman; his brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Emily Freeman; his niece, Brooke Applewhite; and his grandparents, Ace and Molly Freeman and Willis “Buster” and Myrtle Jarrell.
