Mr. Rudolph Edwin Camp III

Mr. Rudolph Edwin Camp, III, of Newport News, Virginia, passed away at his home on Monday, March 9, 2026. A devoted father to Ms. Tamarah Chavis and a longtime member of New Beech Grove Baptist Church, Rudolph lived a life rooted in faith and family.

He served his country with honor, as reflected in the military honors that will accompany his service. Those who knew him will remember a man who cherished his role as a father and remained deeply connected to his church community throughout his years in Newport News.

Mr. Camp is survived by his daughter, Tamarah Chavis, and the extended Camp and Chavis families, who will carry forward his memory with love and gratitude.
