Mr. Raymond Lee Salter

Mr. Raymond Salter, 80, of Greenville, transitioned on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Regency Hospital of Greenville. Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late William Salter and Louise Hailstock.

Surviving: one daughter, Samantha Johnson of Greenville, SC; three sons, Cedric Salter, Spencer Salter, and Sanchez Salter, all of Greenville, SC; four sisters, Callie Salter Hagood, of Chicago, IL, Edna Salter Cheeks, of Greenville, SC, Sarah Salter Prince, of Greenville, SC and Lucinda Salter Young, of New York; three brothers, Samuel (Earlene) Salter, of Charleston, SC; William (Evette) Salter, of Chicago, IL and Rufus Salter, of Greenville, SC; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
