He is married to Mrs. Bonnie Barnes Ivey. Mr. Ivey was a mechanic for Bowman Trucking. He also did many other jobs. He loved working in his garden. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend to many.He was preceded in death by: His Parents; Brother, Mr. Willie and Sister, Pat.He is survived by: Wife, Mrs. Bonnie Ivey; Son, Mr. Christopher Leon Ivey; Daughter, Bonnie Chastain; Grandchildren, Timothy Shone McDonald, Thomas Nicholas Nicholas McDonald, Lyric Gordon, Kayla Herron (Jason), Kara Sutton, Kaycee Fore (Jason); Great Grandchildren, Peyton McDonald, Andrew McDonald, Landon Porreto, Jake McDonald, Ryan Sutton, Cheyenne Herron, Cooper Sutton, Sophia Fore, Josie Fore, Adalee Herron; Sisters, Mable Adams and Pearl Schultz; Nieces and Nephews.Funeral Services for Mr. Leon Ivey will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2026, 1:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
