Mr. Jody Banks Branch

Mr. Jody Banks Branch, age 41, of Lowgap, passed away at his home on February 27, 2026. Mr. Branch was born on July 3, 1984, in Forsyth County, to Peggy Diane White Branch and the late Joe Bill Branch. Mr. Branch was employed at Cooke Trucking for 10 years, and prior to that he was self-employed at his family business, Branch’s Custom Finishing, for many years. Jody enjoyed working on the farm and took great pride in the work that had been done alongside his wife and kids. Mr. Branch was loved by so many, and will be very much missed. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Savannah Scales Branch; children, Kaylee, Jayden, and Jackson Branch; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sherry Royal and Aaron, Shannon Pack and Jamie; brother Chad Chilton. Jody was preceded in death by his father, Joe Bill Branch. A funeral service to honor Mr. Branch’s life will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church, with the Rev. Randy Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Hutchens-Venable Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 12:00 PM until time of the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Moodys of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Branch family.
