He is married to Mrs. Bonnie Nell Hall Chastain. James was the warehouse General Manager for Cregger. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many.James was preceded in death by: Parents, Runt and Mary Sue Chastain.He is survived by: Wife, Bonnie Chastain; Children, Lyric Gordon (Rob), Shone McDonald and Nicholas McDonald (Heather); Grandchildren, Peyton McDonald, Andrew McDonald, Jake McDonald, Regan Gordon, Johnna Gordon, Landon Porreto; Great Grandchldren; Brother, Mr. Joel Chastain (Aleda Holley); Sister, Michelle Hunt (Shane Mitchell).Funeral Services for Mr. James Chastain will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026, 2:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home. Rev. Sam Leggett and Rev. Jeremy Hicks will officiate.
