Mr. Gregory K. Morris Sr.

Gregory K. Morris, age 66, of Newark, Delaware, passed away on March 7, 2026, in Cadia Healthcare, Dover, Delaware. Born in Camden and raised in Gibbstown, he graduated from Paulsboro High School in 1977, where he played on the basketball team and earned the nickname “Stretch.” He went on to earn his LPN degree from Salem County Community College and devoted his career to caring for others in several nursing homes throughout the area.

Greg found great joy in coaching his sons’ sports teams and remained a devoted Philadelphia sports fan throughout his life. He looked forward to his weekly Friday lottery tickets and, above all, cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his sons, Gregory Jr. and Amanda Morris of Newark, Delaware, Tyler and Annie Morris of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, and James and Dawn Justis of Clayton, New Jersey; his grandchildren, Austin, Makayla, Izzy, Maisey, and Mackenzie; and his siblings, Joseph and Laurie Morris of Clarksboro, Louis Morris of Monticello, Kentucky, Gail Dorman of Gibbstown, Tim and Heidi Morris of Oak Island, North Carolina, Marie and Don Osborne of Gibbstown, Maureen and Thom Love of Sewell, Christopher and Patty Morris of Allen, Texas, and Ted and Amy Morris of Bolivia, North Carolina. He was predeceased by his parents, Marie and Louis Morris.
