Mr. Darryl Lee Hinkle

Darryl Lee Hinkle, 66, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away on March 11, 2026. Born on January 24, 1960, in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of Juanita Hinkle and the late Belve Hinkle.

Darryl dedicated 33 years to the Carpenter’s Union, where he also served as a Business Agent and remained a proud member for 40 years. Woodworking was both his profession and his passion, and he found great joy tending his garden. An avid Ohio sports fan, he never passed up an opportunity to debate sports or politics with his best friend, Jay Crawford. Above all, family was everything to him, and he cherished his role as Papaw to his beloved granddaughter, Addison Grace, whom he called his “partner in crime.”

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Mary Swafford and James and Millie Hinkle. Darryl is survived by his loving wife, Darla Sue Hinkle; his children, Cody Nicholas Hinkle and wife Samantha, and Taylor Nicole Heil and husband Ryan; his granddaughter, Addison Grace Heil; his brother, Rodney Hinkle; his faithful dog, Brutus; and many other dear loved ones and friends.
