Albert L. “Whaldo” Luckey, 64, of Piedmont, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Piedmont Post Acute. Born in Manhattan, New York, he was the son of the late Albert and Annice Ware Luckey.
He is survived by his son, Al (Collier) Harris of Piedmont, South Carolina; three sisters, Marion (Charles) Anderson of Duncan, South Carolina, Cordell Luckey of Greenville, South Carolina, and Rudeen Ware of Belton, South Carolina; one brother, Anthony Luckey of Greenville, South Carolina; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A service was held for him on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with private interment.
