Morris G. Moran

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Morris G. Moran (Lockport, New York), born in Niagara Falls, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2026 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Moran and Marie Moran (Kraft); his wives, Geraldine Moran (Ziegler) and Margaret Moran (Sturgess); his daughter Debra Lawton (late Jerry); and his siblings, Warren Moran (late Carol), Earl Moran (late Florence) and Marilyn Rosseau (late Kenneth).

He is survived by: his daughter Wendy Tagg (James); his grandchildren, Anna Kirsch (John), Shawn Lawton (Christian), Tara Naylor (Jeffrey), Sara Tagg and Brian Tagg (Jessica); and his siblings, Gordon Moran (Claudette) and Linda Diel (David). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home (242 Genesee St, Lockport, NY 14094). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
