Monroe Arnold Schulz Jr., 79, of Levelland, passed away on March 12, 2026. Born on April 1, 1946, in Lubbock to Monroe Arnold Schulz Sr. and Arvie Luceile Forester Schulz, he grew up with a strong sense of duty and responsibility that would shape his life.
Monroe proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1971 to 1975, earning the rank of Sergeant and an honorable discharge. He then dedicated more than fifty years to working in the oilfields of West Texas, where his steady work ethic and reliability earned him the respect of those around him.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his three children, Mike McCann, Michele Bennett, and Tami Stefanatos; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters. Those who knew him will remember a man who lived with quiet strength, deep loyalty to family, and a lifelong commitment to providing for those he loved.
