Mona was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jamil A. Azar, who passed away in 2018. Born in Amar, Syria, she was the cherished daughter of the late Mousie and Jamileh (Khal) Ammary.Mona was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, whose life was centered around her family. She had a heart of gold and was known for her warmth, kindness, and boundless generosity. An exceptional cook, Mona found boundless joy in feeding others, and her home was always open to whoever walked through the door-especially her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all and never forgotten.Survivors: Children, Zakieh Hadeed and her husband, Youssef, Ghassan "Gus" Azar and his wife, Carolina, Abboud Azar, Salloum "Sam" Azar and his wife, Lydia, Souad "Sue" Veloso and her husband, George, and Samir Azar and his wife, Tara; Brother, Salloum Ammary; Sisters, Nafleh Azar, Selma Ammary and Zarifeh Abboud; 13 Grandchildren; and 5 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a Grandson, Isaiah Azar; and Brother, Nadim Ammary; and Sisters, Nadima Hanna and Afifi Kholi.Services: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton Streets, Allentown.
