Mona Ann "Bartlett" Ervin

Mona Ann Ervin, 75, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on March 13, 2026, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

Born in Evansville on September 30, 1950, to Clarence “Cotton” and Mary Lou Bartlett, Mona graduated from Central High School and spent 40 years working in Human Resources at Target. She found joy in many simple pleasures: visiting the casino, traveling with her family, reading, playing Bingo, and caring for her beloved Dachshunds. She had a deep passion for flowers and took great pride in tending her yard’s flower beds. Always feminine and put-together, Mona made sure her nails were painted, her makeup was done, and she was wearing her favorite jewelry and perfume. She will be remembered for her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor.

Mona is survived by her daughter, Christy Disney (Keith Floyd) of Evansville; her son, Kenny Ervin (Sean McDonald) of San Francisco, California; her grandson, Zachery Disney (Kayley); extended family members Cassie Bretzinger and Michael Floyd; and her great-granddaughter, Alivia Bretzinger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Ervin, and her parents.
