Moleon Noel ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Grace Funeral Chapels - Lauderhill on Mar. 2, 2026.Moleon Noel Sr., affectionately known as "Ce la vie," passed away peacefully on Feb 27, 2026, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, at the age of 81, after a courageous battle with cancer.Born in Port-de-Paix, Haiti, to Julia Vincent and Leon Lindor, Moleon was his father's first surviving son-a blessing so profound that he was given the nickname "Ce la vie," a testament to life itself and the promise it holds. From his earliest days, resilience, and determination marked his journey. As a young man, he left Haiti in pursuit of opportunity, traveling first to the Bahamas and later to the USA to create a better life for his family. In the Bahamas, he discovered and mastered the glass trade, becoming a highly skilled craftsman. In New York, he was often sought out to design and create intricate glass murals for businesses and homes-works that reflected both his craftsmanship and his quiet pride in excellence. He was a member of the New York Local Glass Workers Union, where he built not only a career, but a reputation for integrity and mastery. For 51 beautiful years, he was the devoted husband and partner of Marie Anne Noel. Together, through sacrifice, and unwavering commitment, they built a life grounded in love, stability, and faith. In 1990, Moleon moved to Florida to take control of his own time -an embodiment of the self-made man he had always been. He continued to prioritize what mattered most: family. He was a patriarch in every sense of the word-steady, principled, and protective. His guidance shaped generations.Beyond his work, he found joy in the simple blessings of life. He loved his garden, tending it with patience and care, and took great pride in sharing its bounty with family, friends, and neighbors. To him, giving was natural. Providing was love in action.Moleon loved the Lord deeply and was a faithful member of Lighthouse Seventh-day Adventist Church. Serving as a deacon and in the choir for decades. His faith anchored him through seasons of life and sustained him in his final days.He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Marie Anne Noel; his children, Emmanuel Patrick Noel, Monet Noel, Yves Edouard Noel, Moleon Noel Jr., Julien Noel, and Micheal Noel; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.Moleon Noel Sr.'s life was a testament to skill, faith, and family. He crossed oceans so that his siblings, children and grandchildren could stand on solid ground. He built with his hands, led with his heart, and loved without condition."Ce la vie"- And his life was truly a giftTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
